PoliCultura is a project for schools, from Italy and abroad, of Politecnico di Milano.
Each class participant must create a multimedia narrative that illustrates an educational activity.
Realizing multimedia narratives is educationally effective, engaging and activates positive dynamics within the class.
The initiative is free and open to all school levels.
PoliCultura supports teachers in realizing their teaching activity with 1001Stories, the authoring tool
that creates multimedia narratives combining text, audio, images and video.
A free online course is offered to teachers on how to
effectively accomplish digital “storytelling” with the class.
An online community is a place where teachers can meet their colleagues for
exchange of ideas, opinions and collaborative experiences.
PoliCultura makes all the multimedia narratives realized highly visible through an
online portal dedicated to them and a presence on YouTube.
The contest recognizes the merits of the teaching approach (also taking into account the difficulties and initial conditions),
the effectiveness of communication and the choice of addressed themes.
PoliCultura allows to effectively tell both complex and simpler teaching experiences,
offering different narrative formats.
